I was thinking of going LED this grow? Would a 90w led plus 184w of CFL produce a good yield for 3 plants, Keep in mind i'm going to let the get pretty tall, my cabinet is about 6.5 or 7 ft tall.
Check my grow I have 3 plants growing with just one 120w LED they are just medium sized plants and the lower part of the plants do not get as much light as I like, if you are growing tall plants I would recommend you get a panel that has 3w leds for the improved penetration or just train your plants if you are set on 90w and cfl
I have a similar setup 3 LSD plants under a 90w Quad band UFO with 4, 23w 2700k CFL's on the sides. I'm a newbie, but if you have lots of horizontal space, I would just supercrop it to make the plant grow outwards rather than up. Solving the problem of penetration and saving the money you'd have to spend on a new LED.
