Late season start

  1. Started some bag seeds today. I believe them to be autos.

Rockwool cubes soaked in 5.5 pH water with about 1/4 tps bio root per gallon.

  2. I watered the cubes and covered them with a pottery bowl so they don't dry out quickly.

  3. Still have damp rockwool cubes with no changes yet. I imagine I'll see some signs of life in a day or two.

  4. Uneventful as it is, here are the cubes and a bonsai mother 1378151436050.jpg

  5. looks like nute burn on your mother plant

  6. it is the FFOF I started it in is a bit hot. TY

  7. Watered the cubes a little today, they were starting to get light. Still look the same....

  8. Still just damp cubes...

The roots on this one are looking great. She's about a week older then the cubes.

I was gifted a bunch of seeds from the dispensary owner yesterday. We're nit sure I'd they are autos or not. I'm going to cotton germinate a few to find out.

  9. Turns out the plant I took my bonsai from is a male. So I have started another set of clones from the female. I'm also germinating a few of the sweet tooth seeds I was given. I'm hoping they are autos. If so I have my winter crop started.

  10. Clones are doing great! And one seedling sprouted from the sweet tooth.

  11. Moved the one seed that sprouted to a Rockwool cube.

  12. Original cubes never sprouted. 1379257957412.jpg

But two of the sweet tooth did. One is in soil 1379258027995.jpg

    One in DWC 1379258072000.jpg

The bag seed is coming along nicely 1379258130863.jpg 1379258174779.jpg

The clones are chugging along. They aren't happy. 1379258248156.jpg

A little stretchy, but the supplemental light is taking care of that

Stretch here too, but roots are now showing. 1379807223059.jpg 1379807257053.jpg

  14. Here is what my banana OG is doing outdoors.

  15. Here is my semi permanent set up. The water is scheduled to cycle 15 minutes every hour in this rDWC set up. The three buckets are all plumbed together. I stuck from the res and pump into the plants. It keeps their levels even and mostly drops the res. I'm still waiting for it to circulate enough to measure my ppm and pH. I'm shooting for nothing more then 500 ppm and pH range from 5.6-6.1. The light is on only when the sun is out. I Want them to go straight into flower. Actually I was hoping for autos but it doesn't matter. I Cannot keep the light on at night. It will effect the plants flowering outside. The skinny hoses near the plants are co2 if I get motivated to use it.

  16. Here's my current set up. I did set up the co2. The difference in early growth between the rDWC and the dirt is quite obvious.

I had some light leaks through my baskets that led to a bit of algae. Simple flush and fill, and some plastic to cover the pellets solved that.

    Organic dirt sweet tooth.

  18. Ah well pic sucks. There is a better one in my thread. Ha ha ha ha
I work with electronics but some days Im not to computer savy lol

  19. Found my light leak in my DWC I had to flush and fill again as well as trim the roots. The sweet tooth didn't mind but the bag seed is stressing.

    Dirt looks the same.

Refilled the co2 with more water, sugar, and rapid yeast. I replaced the 2 air line pump with a 4 line pump I had.

  20. I pickup us some H2O2 and put a splash in my rDWC to kill any remaining algae.

The b/s is recovering from its root trim well.

Everyone else is chugging along fine.

The outdoor heat stressed my plants but local growers say its what happens, but I'll wind to with some very purple buds
