Extremely disappointed in it. Honestly, it's crap. This was more of an Atlantic Records album than a Lupe album. Honestly, I think Lupe should just go independent.
Sounds way to poppish and mainstream, obviously Atlantic made him make it have more of a Kanye feel, with upbeat beats to go with his lyrics, but it was way different the F&L and The Cool Interview: Lupe Fiasco Hates His Own Album | Complex.com Lupe Fiasco Admits He Hates His Album,
Hip-Hop ive been bumpin it for a few days i love the album, its not F&L or the Cool, but i still think lu did his thing and its something different. for those of you that think its crap listen to some of the lyrics and ull see its hard from it. lu did his thing, but i know he aint done....
That's exactly it. Atlantic Records told him to not rhyme too deep and told him to make more commercialized and pop music.
