Did some LST yesterday plants are going nicely and seem to love the 12 hour feeds ... now should I double top these plants on the third node on the 2 new tops? I'm not sure
you might just need to back it off a lil on the nutes is all. Today I checked my runoff and the pH was 5.3 (I only been checking occasionally) with an EC of ~2500 (1200 ppm). I decided to feed 1/2 strength (right away) with pH 6.4. I will check the EC/pH tomorrow again. My plants had a touch of burn on the tips. Also, that plant is in full flower mode, has a 4x4 canopy and is BIG. My other plant gets and EC of 1200 ~ 1L per day. No sign of toxicity and a normal pH (6.05 or something). Its a touch smaller than yours (from picture comparison); that's only ~600ppm being fed including the 220 ppm from the tap. I think you may just need to feed 1/2 strength for a day or two and back it off to 600 for a lil while. Keep monitoring.
yeah, I backed it down to 0.5 micro and 1ml of bloom per liter (1.8ml micro per gallon and 3.79 bloom per gallon) it seems if I go higher then this my leaves go super dark green and the ends start curling down ... it just strange since i see such high numbers people are feeding and my plants wont eat shit but they are growing really well at the low PPM's checked my runoff and it is at a perfect 5.8/5.9 PH across all plants .. i do get like 30/40% run off when i feed though. Roots are literally trying to bust out of my fabric pots ahaha they poke out a little it looks kinda cool
Lookin good man 1st grows r always stressful I’m sure the next will be easier as u know what to expect. If your tent is still running hot try running lights at night when your house has cooled down some may even save ya some $ on electric bill. Not sure bout Australia but in America electricity is cheaper between 8pm and 6am.
I've been putting frozen bottles of water in front of my fans ... seems to work ok and very cheap haha

I've read a bunch of stuff on it but there is so many different opinions ... but I mostly gathered it has to do with how high you want your plants to grow. Roots coming out of my fabric pots at the moment hahaha
Hey guys, I think I got my first site of some preflowers pretty early and hard to see ... but it kinda looks more pointy then male parts so I'm thinking female but would like some advice from some experienced growers .. these guys are 32 days from sprout. Close up the full image so you can zoom in/out as you wish (CTRL and scroll up/down, will zoom in and out)
Thinking about putting these guys into flower in the next few days as I'm starting to run out of room horizontally in the tent ... anyone got any tips or advice for me? They are 32 days from sprout at the moment.
Just done an LST session today to try and get the canopy flat across all 5 plants ready for the flowering stage .. got 1 confirmed female and the others ill just monitor daily and get rid of any males that pop up ... thinking of flipping them to 12/12 tonight.
Ordered a HLG 135 V2 Quantum board today but they are on back order so I am just waiting for it to come ... I got the 3k version as the light I have now seemed to work really well for the veg stage and if I need supplemental lighting I can use the light I have now on blue or red for w/e supplement I need. Plants are doing really well in flower and have shot for the sky .. I will post up some pictures tonight
Update: 2 weeks since the flip to 12/12 ... Still waiting on my HLG 135V2 QB but the plants are doing well at the moment one of the plants is clearly ahead of the other guys and is looking really nice I set up an auto watering system, with just irrigation tubing i bought for 10 bucks, an aquarium water pump and water bubbler my dealer gave me for free ... the entire setup ended up costing me 15 dollars with the T pieces and right angle pieces. so now I just flip a switch for 45 seconds and flip it again and plants are watered .. I come back 15/20 mins later and empty the trays and it's good for another 12 hours ... I am still feeding 2 times a day at 750 PPM per feed ... I'm putting in 3.5ML cal mag, 2.8ML Micro and 6ML bloom into 7 liters of water (just under 2 gallons) any more than this and I start to see some light tip burn so they are riding the line at the moment .. they could probably handle 1 or 2 ML more of the bloom but I don't wanna push it too hard.
I got the QB yesterday and set her up today and put it in the tent ... it's so bright I almost blinded myself when testing to see if it works after i built it hahaha Just some updated pics ... the pics are a bit shitty because the QB is so bright hahaha next time I take pics both lights will be off haha I now have a HLG V2 135 Watt Quantum Board and a 450w Full spectrum LED ... not sure if this is overkill or if I should just run the QB I moved the tall girls onto the outsides and the low girl's onto the inside and set them on 45 degree andgles so the entire stem gets light ... I will scrog next time ...it wasn't possible this time due to having a house inspection and knowing I would have to move the plants to hide them which is now done and over .. I have spaced out the bud sites so they all get some light but now they look a bit messy and all over the place haha ... I have no idea why some plants went for the sky and some stayed lower but because of the tip burn on some of the plants maybe I was giving too much N.
Hey guys so I got My new Rhizo stands and my hydro halos ... my hydro halos gap isn't big enough to get around my stems right now so they will be for next grow haha Got some pictures of my girls in their new stands ... feeding them at 1100 -1200 ec atm
haha yeah, the stands are great, made watering so much easier ... can't wait till next grow when I can use the halos as well ... My local hydro shop sells them and had a 50% off sale so I scooped them up and I could not be happier with my purchase ... they are amazing
