I see so much outdoor that looks good but is not dank. Shes got a couple weeks to go and getting so beautiful! Once again, just showing off... not bad for my first run at outdoor and soil (what a learning process its been) enjoy the bud porn!
Nice! What strain is that? And any cool colors on mine are from the the nighttime temps dipping into 50's and high 40's. Nugs are uber dense and i have to violently shake all the braches every morning.
They have been pretty frosty since week 4 surprisingly but they aren't very big plants both are slightly under 2 ft tall dont even know the pot size but about 1 foot wide.also damn man trimming that much would be pretty nuts, going to have some sore hands what strain(s) you growing?
I also pollinated some lower branches with a purple plant that reaked like skunk on each plant there just random bagseed I had collected out of a bag of crap about 5 years ago first grow too definately exceeded my expectations one amells like kush that gassy aroma and the other smells like grapes almost I just hope the seeds actually make it too the end too so I can start my second grow with my own custom strain. I started 3 babys while these two were flowering of Northern skunk by peak seeds and all 3 ended up showing as males after a month was pretty disappointing so back down to the two females again
If your gonna breed you should use the best genetics you can get ahold of. Mine are two very different phenos of og kush. One has less than 2 weeks left. The other looks like she will go as long as the weather will allow
I looked online to find good quality male plants for breeding it had most of the criteria on there like the big thick hollow stem it was pest resistant lived through thrips and aphids when I put it outdoors it gave off the most dank smell once I removed it from the grow tent I'm using I lost all smell in the room lmao I was like what? It grew two and half feet when it was younger I did alot of pruning and topped it without even knowing it trying to remove all the dead stuff from bugs. But once temperature lowered outside it went all purple and stunk 5x more so I'm hoping the crosses will be pretty kickass. Not expecting to get much yield though the lower buds are all pretty puny and spaced out the main cola only looks to be about the size of a 2g nug the others near the top half the size then lower half are half the size again. They look pretty potent though I'm just happy I have made it this far though I tried last summer and they died long before flowering and I had a pathetic light in a fishtank they only grew about 10 inches in a month and a half before toppling over skinny and weak haha .
Of the three northern skunk males they were all very different one super tall skinny stems another had mutated leaves and grew very wide had a massive sized stem healthier then the others too I bagged the pollen off that one and then ditched all 3 of them I really wish one of those 3 would have been a female 3/10 seeds already male not looking too good so far and I have to wait till these finish before I plant more cause I have an aphid problem rocking me hard.
I planted one of these for my first runs as for practice to see if i can even get anything going.. & boii did these seeds come out to be a nice fem thst me & the wife feeling reslly nice.. the batch the seed came from was dried & cured in correctly and the plant hermied obviously so it didnt focus on bud potency but instead healthy viable seeds.. but my grow didnt hermie and she produced better buds than the bud the seeds came from.. i have about 200 seeds from swagg, i plan on keeping them cause my last grow was amazing & bud was great.. so when i cant buy a known strain ill use these unknown .. ill just start a couple cause i wont know how many fems ill get out of it but should be a whole lot tho
The females are fire I clipped some lower buds dryed for about 4 days 2 days doing the glass jar burping method but they were the stickiest buds iv ever touched they cut up nice smelled exactly like this tuna kush I get online but maybe the bag I got it out of came from a mass harvest and he harvested to late ot something or sprayed down with tons of chemicals and males seeded them early it was mostly seeds and stems but maybe the genetics were good but the grower wasnt you never know. Hope the seeds full mature though I see a few popping out of the bottom branch but still green, fingers crossed. Good luck on the grow and future grows looking good!
