So, i know it's far from original, but for some reason I like this photo. Its a St. Christopher, the patron saint of travel, on top of a bible. Not much preparation, a reading lamp and my kit lens. Enjoi. ... for some reason I only get the code for an embedded picture if I upload 2 or more pics at a time... wtf?
Bah, I'd be a hypocrite if I told you not to be cliche' every once in a while. Beats the hell out of sitting around doing nothing! The focus is spot on and the bokeh is very pleasing to the eye, but the saturation could use some work to really bring out the golden color of the necklace. Also, check the white balance on your camera to avoid the pink cast on the bible pages, unless that was the look you were going for.
Hmm, the one saved on my computer is more golden and doesnt look pink to me... Maybe my screen is just not "calibrated" whatever that means, i've heard that term thrown around a lot... Thanks regardless.
No, yea, you're right. I have never calibrated this monitor.. the kits to do so usually run $100 and up.
