Just had an epiphany

  1. If you strive for progression, doesn't that make everyday the best day of your life?

  2. I had the same epiphany a long time ago.

If you try to improve yourself everyday, there's no limit to life.

  3. I guess it does... but only if you progress forwards...

  4. Progress can only go forward, otherwise it's regress.

  5. Oh... right... hence the prefix 'pro'...

But what if what you think is progress, is actually regress?

How do you know, at the end of the day, if you have progressed, or regressed?

For example, you did things to improve things, but how do you know if things actually improved? How do you know it's not gotten worse?

    I'm stoned....

  6. Setting daily goals and achieving them.

  7. Hm... This sounds doable...

    Setting goals... AND acheiving them...

But what if I don't achieve my goals at the end of the day?

What if my goal takes more than just a day? Like... a week... I need at least a week to finish it...

I'm setting a goal RIGHT NOW, that I can finish within today.

    And the goal is,

"From now on, until I sleep, I WILL NOT GET ANGRY AT ANYTHING."

That's a goal... pretty tough one really... I got... about 6 hours left...

  8. Then that'll add to the forward progess of that day.

  9. Today is the only day. Right now is the only moment that exists

  10. this guy had it down

  11. very intriguing lol

  12. Biocentrism...

All reality, all that you think, that you see, that you do, that you strive to improve, are all fabrications inside of the human mind, and do not necessarily exist outside the human mind.

    This is Biocentrism

The idea that nothing at all may exist as we know it without a human being making it so, that life creates the universe rather than the other way around

  13. Ive recognized this but have failed to act. Its just so much more chill kicking back smoking weed and playing xbox. I do need to start making money if I want to live out my dreams though. However, the only money I can even make now is minimum wage and when I get out of college I'll make more in a year than I would make in a few years working at the jobs I can do now. So I don't know where to go from here...

  14. were you in a library when this occurred

  15. Until you catch an std from a bar whore... those are never good days;)
