It is going out of your way to make a post pointing out when someone is breaking the rules, send a private message to someone, don't hi-jack a thread.

Helping the kid would be giving him advice, not posting a giant irrelevant picture (with a grammatical mistake in it by the way) and saying YOU'RE BREAKING THE RULES and saying "read the damn rules kid" as if to suggest he is stupid or whatever.

I'm sorry but that's just the way I see the situation.
