Jupiter loses cloud stripe

  1. I've read somewhere that Jupiter has also spawned a couple of new red storms. Maybe something crazy is happening in that crazy planet?

  2. Yeah, they can also be white depending on the climate conditions. The great big red spot is shrinking, too.

There is also a blizzard on Saturn right now

  3. But if you look, NEB got darker and thicker and the top 1/3 of the planet is also more red. The ring didn't disappear, it just fused with the other one

  4. i bet its gettin ready to move to another solar system

  5. The SEB was slowly fading before Jupiter was out of view (Behind the sun), and once it came back into view, it was gone. Apparently this happens every 15 years or so, but it is always unknown when the SEB will return. A sign of it returning is when Jupiter has planet-wide outbreaks of storms near the SEB latitude.

In this picture you can see the Great Red Spot is still near where the SEB was.
