  1. How long does it take for a job to call you back if they are hiring?

  2. About a week or two usually.

  3. You need to talk to the person who is hiring. If you filled an application and waiting for a call, you most likely won't get that job. Go in and speak to them.

  4. I was thinking about giving them a call saying "Hey I just put in an application and I just wanted to see if you had looked it over."

I don't get what walking in would do:confused:

  5. walking in may be the difference between you getting or not getting the job.
    trust us, walk in.

  6. ya, it shows them you really care about getting this job, are going to put forth some effort, and are really trying for this, not just put in the application and w.e i hope i get it.

  7. If you want to get ahead your going to have to double your current effort.

Unemployment is at a 14 year high....

Trust me man, i work a shit fast food job and I'm having a hard time finding another.

  8. And do what? Speak to the manager? I get sort of nervous and wouldn't know what to say...
