Jefferson Airplane

Discussion in 'Music genres, Bands and Artists' started by ChronicTurkey, Oct 9, 2009.

  1. So, I've been listening to a TON of airplane lately but when I mention it to people my age almost 95% don't know who the fuck I'm talking about.
For those who don't know, Jefferson Airplane was a great band.
They were a conerstone in the 60s rock/psychedelic scene and their legacy will live on
    and hold true forever.

& for those older stoners on GC, they know what I'm talking about.
    & I'm sure they couldn't agree more.
    Thoughts and opinions please!

    I'll post some videos,

Grace Slick was a beauty back in her day, as well (in my opinion)
This photo doesn't portray her beauty as much as it does her rebellious persona

  2. This one shows her beauty a bit more :)

  6. Gotta White Rabbit and Somebody to Love. A lot of my friends like older rock like me, so we listen to them a lot during burn seshes.

  7. hah, I've read the band bio, and apparently ALOT of people hit that back in the day.
including former band members from almost all bands she was in prior to the airplane, morrison, etc etc.
