I've not lived in any other country so it's hard for me to say, for sure, that I would prefer another country to this. That being said. Most of America is pretty shitty, but if you can handle the cold Alaska is the fucking shit! I've been here for the past 13 years and I don't want to go back to the lower 48. Life is just a bit more peaceful, but the military being all kinds of trouble. Like gangs as roaches... Canada was also a pretty cool place. I would also love to visit England, but all that CCTV shit scares me.

a lot of it is personal that i dont feel like sharing on a forum. but mostly its because of how ass backwards our country is... lack of national healthcare, corporations running rampant buying everyone they can so they can get away with whatever, we bully any nation that we can that cant do anything to us, we are ran by a bunch of old rich dudes that are so far disconnected from the rest of the populace that its sickening, our rights are continually stripped away in the name of "counter-terrorism" which is just bullshit btw, private for profit prisons are growing and will soon eliminate state prisons (when the state agrees to the prison being there to alleviate budget strain they agree to keep the prisons at 90% capacity which means more prison time for bullshit "crimes"). i could go on.
Canada's where it's at man! Cops don't bother you here, you can smoke in public at least where I'm at (B.C.) and we have the best wilderness and scenery in North America, in my opinion. The economy up here is also not quite as dismal as the States

they dont do it because they can, they do it because they have to. its more expensive for them to grow healthy organic food which is why the big companies dont do it. in order for them to sustain their business they have to sell at high prices. its bullshit but thats america for you. we seriously need some food purity laws here like in all the healthy Euro countries.
I think if you go other places you'll find 90% of those problems exist everywhere, not just the USA. We have it pretty good here guys.. Sure our government is pretty useless the past couple decades, but over all I can't think of somewhere I'd rather have been born..

I moved to California from England and the only upside is the medical marijuana. Other then that, it's so fucking boring. The clubs and bars here are absolute shit compared to what Europe has to offer. I'd kill to go back to the UK :/

Trust me op, the grass always seems greener .. Having lived in both the us and England, I can tell you America is nice, has great landscape as other stated and the earning potential in America far exceeds that of England, in virtually every profession (partly to do with the exorbanant income tax rates in the UK). Having said that the people and environment in the US just does not compare to that of England. The stupid American stereotype is very much alive and well. Many people here are very close minded, and education in this country fails many .. The point I make is that your average low to mid socioeconomic classes of people in England will be more intelligent, articulate and generally much more cultured than their American counterpart. This is very evident when you look at the consumer marketplace of both countries. Products and services in England will generally be of a higher quality, service schemes make more sense as they serve a more discerning population. The product and service market in America is laughable sometimes, they will sell you anything here because there are enough idiots in this country to buy whatever it is they see on an infomercial, irregardless of quality or usefulness. You should def come and visit though man .. Check out the uk-us visa policy, it's easy to get out here .. Many things to see
you will find these problems anywhere. but much like celebrities are put on the spotlight, for some reason america is always in the spotlight too by other countries. people read too much into it. move to afghanistan for a year. you'll be begging to come back.

considering they're moving towards socialism i would much rather live there. i dont need all the plastic crap the corporations tell us to buy to be happy. once i started smoking weed i realized this. climate wise its not too different than florida. i mean less beaches and bigger mosquitoes but humidity and heat wise its about the same.
