I dont listen to much rap/hiphop and thought you fellow blades could help me out with discovering some new music. I'm not too into rap/hiphop unless there is a good melody. Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon Album was pretty good... I saw Wiz Khalifa on tv and remembered some of you blades mentioned him, I only liked 2 songs...other than that it was meh, not really my thing. Its difficult to listen to, if you know what I mean. There arent really any good melodies there. All he rapped about was weed, bitches, hoes, and money. There was no depth to the lyrics, "This Plane" was catchy but lacked substance and was about as deep as a puddle. Basically, what I am asking...are there any hiphop/rap/that sort of genre of artists out there who sound good? Meaning they have catchy songs with good melodies and the lyrics are actually pretty deep?

I was kinda annoyed by that comment, but I believe you only listen to mainstream rap. There's more to rap then just money, cars, and hoes man. You just need to search for it.
