I'm in week four of flower, and my light doesn't want to cover the entire width of the tent. It seems that no matter which position I move it to, there is always one corner, or one entire side of the tent that doesn't get lit well. I've put four 24w CFL's in the dark space for now, changing it's position every two days... is this enough? Is this even a good idea? Should I just invest in another HID? Any input appreciated. Thanks! View attachment 1648564 View attachment 1648558 View attachment 1648536 View attachment 1648525
What about raising the hood a little bit? I grow in a 4x4 tent with a 600w but the hood I have is an XXXL sized one - if you have about 200 bucks to spend I couldn't think of anything better to buy. Even when you decide to upgrade to a 1000w later, the bigger hood will give way better coverage than the smaller one. http://www.amazon.com/Sun-System-Reflectors-Air-Cooled-Reflector/dp/B001NX9CI4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1419099959&sr=8-2&keywords=xxxl+hood
Unfortunately I'm tapped out on this grow. While I have the $$$, this is my first indoor setup and I'm already over budget. If the extended hood could increase immediate yield by 1oz, it would be worth it though. Thanks for the commen
