In the vegetative stage it was amazing, leaves everywhere all looking perfect and then when I switched to 12/12 it started off great with pistils and hairs but then it randomly started dying.. I really think its completely dead now, I was wondering if there is a way to recover it at all.. I also really want to know what the hell could have caused it to happen when the whole grow was going amazing until the very end.. Ive added some pics of how it looks now
I was giving it plenty of water, every 3 days pretty much whenether the soil was dry.. My soil may have had a slow release of nutrients.. possibly.. but im not sure, I gave it a 10-20-20 nutrients, which I heard was good.. Seriously I have no idea how it could of fucking died right at the end when everything was going so well..
Well 3 days is a pretty fucking long time, I grow in smaller pots but still ive had to water like twice a day sometimes. Especially during the beginning stages of flower Mr.Nice's Indoor LED/CFL Grow
I feed every 3 days as well I don't think its too long at all depending on what medium and container you are using. as for the plant tho it looks like it got absolutely burnt up from the time release nutrients. Time release nutes are generally not recommended for growing cannabis because these plants need very little nutrients compared to many plants and it's easy to burn them. You want to be able to control what and how much you are giving them from start to finish.
Ah right.. I guess that must of been it.. I hope that was the reason anyway. Really annoying that that had to happen.. What type of soil and nutrients etc, should I use next time to avoid this happening again? I really want a guaranteed grow
you have a lot of options there are many ways to grow. Personally I use coco coir as my medium and for nutrients I just use General Hydroponics Flora Nova line (grow and bloom). this is soilless medium which is actually really hydroponics technically, but you get the benefit of still have a container filled with "dirt". The only difference is the kind of nutrients you use and the pH you balance for (5.5-5.9 for hydroponics and soilless mediums, 6.2-6.5 for soil). You could always do an organic grow which give really good results but I can't speak too much about those without experience.
Thanks so much for the help, I was thinking of doing 2 to 4 auto flower plants this time, what light spectrum and watts would you recommend?
