Is LSD sacred?

  1. So do all psychedelics. Acid is just 12 hours of this. :p

  2. I have great faith in the potential of LSD and psychedelics in general. Every experience I've had with drugs of that kind has been eye opening. The revelations haven't always been pleasant. Sometimes I've learned things about myself that I didn't like- things I need to work on to change. But that's not a bad thing.

What really worries me though is when people start talking about KNOWING things about the mysteries of the universe based on having taken the drug. For example, saying that they know the nature of God or the nature of the universe at large.... I don't mean to say you can't have a religious or spiritual experience while on a psychedelic, it's just I don't think a human on LSD or mushrooms or Peyote becomes more than a human.

  3. Sometimes humanity is that mystical mysterious thing we discover, and yet the discovery is that we had it (shrouded) the whole time.

  4. acid is as sacred as you make it.
