is loud bass/subs bad for pets?

  1. cats specifically, i have a good sound system in my room and ive been wondering for a couple days if the bass is like really annoying to him or does it like hurt their ears? simply put: should i not bump while my cats in my room which is all the time. :confused:
     
  2. I wonder the same thing when I put my dog in the back seat and I have my system bumping..

  4. Yes you damage pets hearing just like you damage your own. Cats don't really need to hear, it's not like they follow commands like dogs so just do whatever you feel like.

  6. My cat most certainly does follow basic commands, He knows what his toy mice are and he fetches. :poke:

  7. It should be fine.

    Think about it like this, some wild cats live next to train stations or train tracks.
    So a sub isn't bad compared to daily train horns some cats have to live with.
