It;s already almost the middle of august here in North Central Massachusetts. Would it be too late in the season to grow anything that would produce buds? When does the flowering process start here?

Obviously if I do toss some plants out there I won't get much yield at all. I know I'll be lucky if I get an eighth. But I would like to get some experience and a little free smoke. So do you think it would be worth it?

Edit: I just checked and I still have about 14 hours of daylight everyday. Is that enough for the plant to grow? I know it won't have much time to grow and get big, but how long does it take to get big enough to produce some small buds?

  2. I think it´s the middle of August just about everywhere.

No, you are FAR too late to do an outdoor grow this year. Save your seeds for an early start in spring. Meantime, do a bit of reading up. Good luck.

  3. You need to plant in mid to late May up there.
