is it safe to smoke from a socket

    I got this 6ft bong that I love use but I lost the bowl piece for it.. I found a socket that fits in it pretty good but someone told me they coat sockets with some shit to protect it that's why they're shiny and its bad to smoke from them. Is this true? Tryd to put a pic up but it won't let me do it from my phone

    Naw its got another plastic tube that runs from right before the top all the way to the bottem that the piece sits in

    Just buy a new bowl piece, you can find em for around 10$
