Im have a week or two left in veg. There are leaves at the very bottom of the plant that were the plants then 3rd, 4th leaves. Now they don’t get light, and I feel they are just wasting the plants energy. I just made adjustments for lst, and also foliar fed them today. Should I cut out the bottom leaves? Would it cause stress to the plant? (She’s just recovering from stress from the week before) Thanks!
its ok to trim, but fan leaves? leave em' I say, don't do anything but suck up light and store nutrients. But if its an axial growing, consider it a 'sucker leaf' and chop it off.
As well, its good to stress the plant some this way, as it elicits a stress response that causes the plant to make more trichomes... but don't stress it too much though.
