hi i've just started a seed of the usual way in a dvd case inside a draw when it germinates could i put that straight into a BIG pot or should i start with small pots???
until the taproot is pruned, and the roots are well established at the bottom of the pot, the plant's growth may be lanky and slow, so it's a good idea to have it in a starter pod, or have a layer of pumice in your pot, so the root system will become more fibrous and upward growth will be fast. what kind of soil are you using?
oh nothing special just growing it in some cheap compost bought for tomatoes i already have a beautiful girl in some now she looks nice but shes been in 3 different pots, shes in the final pot now.
