Is a non flowering plant of any use?

  1. First time grower in Seattle area.... I have 7 feminized plants from 3 varieties I thought would finish in the Pacific NW... 5 plants are well into budding, 2 are just starting...

My question=== I got a free seed (LA Woman) which gave me a huge(!) beautiful Indica looking female plant. It has not even started flowering so will likely get killed by frost in Oct. before flowering... is the plant worth anything? will the leaves have enough THC to be worth drying and making butter from them? Or should I just cut it down and compost it?

    thanks

  2. It should be flowering soon if not by now. When it's planted doesn't matter so much as the day length.

If it doesn't flower at all it'll be more or less worthless.

  3. thanx for the reply.... just to be sure I understand, though... BTW -- these are all outside plants

If it does start to flower before our cold wet weather starts in early October, I can/should cut the leaves at the terminus of the branches and process them even if budding hasn't progressed by then? I looked up the variety and LA Woman is a longer season plant than should be grown outside in WA.

  4. Personally I wouldn't bother. Compost.
