Anyone else getting calls from some guy claiming to be from the IRS and demanding that you call him back or else dire consequences will follow? This guy keeps calling my house, and it's always fro m a different phone number. I'm going to my local IRS office tomorrow, just to make sure it's a scam. They really picked a bad house to try and scam, we don't pay income tax in this household. We're both on Social Security here.
Does he leave a voicemail? I think he's fucking with you and yeah good shit on going to the local office.
He's left several voicemails. I've always been out when he called, visiting my mom in the hospital. I'm taking the numbers he's been calling from with me, but it's probably a number forwarding service he's using. Hence the different number each time he calls.
I figured as much. I always thought that if you were in trouble with the IRS, they'd send a certified letter. That's why I've never called him back, and don't plan to.
