Growing operations? Construction companies to build grow ops? Seeds ? Lighting suppliers? Glass blowing/pipes/smoking tools? If I had some money to invest in the future of the marijuana-related industries that I feel will be really booming over the next few decades, the glass aspect seems the safest one at the moment. What are your opinions as to "best investments"? Thanks
I highly doubt that there is any publicly traded companies that deal with marijuana. If you invested then you would probably be a partner and put up a significant amount of money, not a small time investor. It will be a while until investing in marijuana becomes viable, one would have to wait for it to be decriminalized. For sake of conversation I would lean towards building companies that specialize in building commercial scale grow facilities initially. Then pull out before it reaches critical mass and work slows down. After that investing in insurance companies that protect the grows from theft or whatever might be a good idea.
Construcion company? Because that would turn good buisness into dirty buisness... Accounting for tax purposes for the amount of money they make appear out of nowhere would be a headache and risk of ruining previously built reputation if cought for growing it or tax evasion. Would turn a totally legit buisness into a criminal network. they would have to find suppliers of building material willing to risk themselves by giving you false reciepts, pay people less, take shortcuts and whatever other dodgey shit just to be able to account for all the money... Any fuckup along the way HM Rev will be there.... Might be afew of the reasons why they dont? Smaller time? It's always good buisness but your always going to be a an illegal producer/supplier. Even then you need a £6-700 tent/system to make any sort of buisness money, unless you want to do the lame bags, have to deal with idiots,be seen running bags about, be spoke about in some social circles as a dealer which will eventually bring you drama and rip everyone off on weight of bags, then yea.. just run a 6 pot sea. Firts/Boosters still cost the same just last longer... Supply of equiptment, alot of competition since you can grow veggies and exotic plants in the same system as you use for bud. My mate even owns a grow shop... 48miles away from where we live. Hydro shops open, police like to know if any of their suspects are proving their suspicions right. Since most the people walking in and out are sporting adidas tracksuits and in their 20s/30s and not the usual old person tomato growing type.... All in all, how can you make a fully legit big money earning power when your focus point is a class b controlled substance? well, in england it is.
