Looking to buy an inline fan who makes the quietest ones. What's everyone think of Vortex fans or should I just get an HTG fan
never had a vortex so cant help ya there but i do have a 595cfm inline from htg. its not exactly quiet and if your going for stealth this prolly wouldnt be your best choice. its not horribly loud but i can hear it through my bedroom with the door closed 100ft away in my living room. if the tvs on however then i cant hear a thing gl man
I'm testing out a 160cfm 4" EcoPlus inline fan from the local hydro store. About 100 bucks. I hear the duct booster fans work alright if you have them pull air out, but they're not very good air pushers, so I went with a real in-line.
Soler and Palau TD series fans are hands down the quietest fans i've ever heard. There a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. ive got a 4" 108cfm for my cabinet.
