hi,can someone please help. i bought a tent,light fan & carbon filter. but ive no clue how to wire up my fan. i need to wire it to a plug. there are 3 wires in the fan box,black & white which are connected & a brown wire taped up. if im attatching to a normal uk plug with blue brown & green wires, do i still wire the plug as normal. i.e. earth (green/yellow) & which colours do i connect at fan terminal.? sorry for complicated q? but i dont want to take risks with electric. on the fan it says intended for connection to a single phase ac mains with ac supply voltage of 220-240v & frequency of 50-60 hz. ??????????????? help. lol
