  1. Hey guys, My first indoor's grow, and based on safety/practicability, im forced to use CFL's, next harvest im switching to HPS. I have 4, 37watt, 1750 lumen daylight CFL, and 2, 30 watt, 900 lumen softwhite lights, my softwhite lights are good, but i was wondering, my daylight CFL's are 5000k, is this bad, because ive herd that i needed 5700k's.. just wondering if this will ruin my plant or destroy the quality to an extent so far that it would be better for me to buy new lighting.

help is crucial :) thx guys

  2. 5000K is perfectally fine. youre good. you can probably use them for your entire grow. they have more of the red spectrum than 6500K which will help you if youre using them for your entire grow.

  3. oo, thats releiving, do you think it would be better to use, 6 of these 5000k lights, or should i also add in two more softwhite lights,

  4. Wrong...
    6500k is for VEG.
    2700k is for FLOWER.

You could have really screwed your grow.
It always helps to do your research first
for answers, then ask questions if youre
    still not satisfied .

    Your welcome.
    Cheers.
