Immature seeds in harvest

  1. What's up ya'll,

I just came from a friend, i helped him cutting.
And while cutting the leaves some of the buds where dropping pale green undeveloped seeds, ofc he was bummed by it but hey what do ya do about it, happens to the best, anyway!

From what i know is that, a seed normally takes 3-4 weeks to develop brown seeds, seeds you stick in tha soil and get a plant. How long does it take to develop these immature seeds?

Let's say you are at week 5 of flower and you plan to flower 3 more weeks, and on week 5 you get a hermie and your crop is pollinated, will you get these undeveloped seeds, or isn't there enough time for them yet?

I'm just curious because it's not a pretty sight to see al these underdeveloped seeds falling on the ground as you prone the buds. So i'm kind of curious when your in the clear. I have been growing almost for 2 years now never had a hermie, but this experience shocked me abit haha, so i want to know if i'm in the safe zone when i'm hermie free at week 5 of flower.
