I want to build a box out of wood. if i'm just trying to grow 4-6 plants in a totally sealed box with ventilation of course then what dimension's would be the best. i'm thinking 3 by 3 and 6 feet tall. Also What would be the best lighting system for a design like that? Would 400 watts be to much? Would a 100 watt metal halide alone work With a hps conversion bulb?

  2. go with at least a 400.

  3. 3x3 for 4 plants max IMO and a 400 w HPS for flower

    4x4 for the 6 plants, with a 600 w HPS

you will need some venting maybe a carbon scrubber, to vented hood, to exaust

  4. Ok, im planning on getting a new lighting system for sure....and a carbon scrubber. Does anyone think that just a 250 watt conversion lamp, a 100 watt conversion lamp, and a couple daylight cfls would be good or should i get a 400 watt in stead of the 250?

  5. you can get away with that idea just fine, but the 400 will produce more weight
