    the light

Well i am a noob and there 2 are my first ever. I have a 100 watt light bulb on them and i water them every so often, a neighbor of mine suggested using water with broken up egg shells and i just shake it up every so often and give them that egg shell water and that is like 1 time a week. i give them 50/50 of distilled and tap water. i bought a water bottle mister. it says for ironing but i used the 50/50 water in it and i mist it like once a day. i am misting them after i turn the light off. and i am using the 18/6 lighting method. i am not going to try "topping" them because im to scared to. ill do it next time. im not sure how long i have had them but i think 4-6 weeks or so. But then again i might be wrong. i am also getting aluminum foil here soon and lining the walls with it for reflection. they have no smell yet but when you rub the stem softly you get a very strong smell of weed. i do not know the strains. i got them when they were babys from a friend that could not grow them because they did not have any where to keep them so there mine. i do not know the ph lvls. i used "Marical grow" and it contains plant food. when i receive my outlet timer (control the lighting better, also i am the one turning it on and off and im getting tired of wondering if its been 10 hours or 16 or 18 or maybe 24+ but i try my best for 18/6) i am going to set it to 12/12 so that means 12 on and 12 off. A local store of mine sells grow lights, im buying 2 and mounting them to the wall. I believe there both females. but when i switch to 12/12 i will know for sure. i will take any and all tips or anything at all. i will keep posting pics to keep you guys updated.

14.Any other pertinent info? umm when i rub the stem it gives off a strong smell of like DRO.

  3. 1. you medium is soil
    2. not the best soil but is gonna have to work, I would switch after transplant.
    4. bag seed
    5. you could send them into flower
    6. will not do, wrong spectrum of light, if you are keeping it small go with cfl's, and you want 150-250W total. Real watts not equivelent. 23W=100W equivelent
    7. not bad but with the right lights could be closer
    8. could work
    9. Nitrogen-phosphersous-patisum (npk rating on fertilizers, will be set up like 0-0-0 on the bix/package)
    10. get a ph meter
    11. Ideal IMO
    12. get bigger ones
    13. good
    14. good but don't finger fuck them too much.

you are not doing that bad for not knowing, my advise get some better lights asap, get a ph meter and shoot for something like 6.5-7.5. Get better soil the MG potting soil you have has time release ferts in it and could hurt your plants. Make the nessacary changes and good luck I am rooting for you.

That would work if the spectrum Is correct but you will need a couple of them I recommend something like this [ame]http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003JJL8SW/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?ref_=asc_df_B003JJL8SW1786795&smid=A1OB5M0OAN6XEW&tag=dealtmp585570-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395105&creativeASIN=B003JJL8SW[/ame] you will have to double check the spectrums that you need. Never can remember which does which (blue veg, more red for flOwer) I know kamels cfl guide has the correct info in it and can be fOund in the absolute beginners section of the site. Sorry on my phone otherwise I would have given the link. Good choice on the soil too, heck a local nursery mine just started carrying it and after shipping it is pretty close to the same price.

Edit: shop around on that light setup it literally was the first one google brought up. Also go to the stickies and start reading up. So much info in the beginners section that will make things tons easier for you.
