If you were going to buy a vaporizer what would you buy and why?

  1. Great info, Yosh.

A couple minutes to warm up isn't that big of a deal to me.  I'm used to it with the Volcano.

I've been looking through the Solo appreciation thread a bit, and am getting closer to picking one up.  Thanks for your input!

And Pot- yes, that would rule.  The world of vaporizers is just so overwhelming!!

  2. I love my VAPOR KING BLISS and I use it since I received my medical mj card.
I have discontinued two heavy duty pain meds since I got this sweet, small, table top vape.

I paid $78.00 for it, with a 2 year warranty and free shipping, plus the grinder and free screens.

I love saving the vaped weed and then making cannabutter. I thought it would be hard, but it is super easy and your will be in heaven with whatever you can bake under 350 degrees, for 30 minutes.
So much stronger and cheaper, than buying medibles from others.

  3. Does anyone have any recommendations for using a Volcano as an individual user - and how one can be most efficient with their herb given those circumstances?  I am aiming for the easy valve but would be willing to learn how to use a smaller bag with it, as I hear it can be done. Thanks!

  4. For the Volcano: You cut your own bags from the rolls they give you. Efficiency-- I like to get my high as close to smoking as possible, so I vape at 230C. Then I take the vaped stuff and put it in a container. Repeat 5-6 times throughout the day. Then at night I vape the already vaped stuff. Puts me to sleep with a grin.

If I was buying a new vape, I'd probably pick up the PLENTY. I'm curious as to how it compares to the Volcano-- after all, it can't go up to 230C.

  5. I started with DBuddha, bought it at a local headshop. (I have ordered accessories directly from 7th floor, the maker of the DaBuddha, The Silver Surfer Vape and the Light Saber) I still love it, its still my favorite, and my goto vape. I do not like bag vapes. Nothing bad to say about them. They are just not for me. My son recently bought a SSV, and I love that too, although the experience is identical to the DaBuddha. So now we have 2 in the house. :) I told him we now have to get a Light Saber to complete the family line of products.:)

I have used my DaBuddha now for going on 3 years, and it stays on 24/7, at vaping temp, so I never have to wait for warm up.

My 1st portable vape was the MFLB. It sux bad. I love the unit, its made so well, and by a great company. The hits just blow. I tried everything, except for mods that made it a home unit, because I had no interest in that, when the DaBuddha sits here ready to kick its ass. :)  I still love the MFLB but as a piece of art on display.  I ordered it from 1percent.com and I highly recommend them.

I recently ordered the Arizer solo,as a portable unit, and I LOVE it. Not as much as the DaBuddha, so it does not get used much when home. But I love the hits I can get, and when on the road it more than adequately does the job. I also use it at home on weekend evenings when we set the projector up in the backyard and watch movies. I take it out there and vape while watching movies. I definitely recommend this as a portable unit. I also purchased this at 1percent.com  Great online vendor.

So thats my vape experience, and a good recommendation of where to buy one. Good Luck. Peace.

  6.
I'm curious.   Being the the VaporKing is a Chinese made knock off of the VaporBros, where would you send it in for warranty repair if it breaks?

  7. I would send it back to VAPOR NATION in California. They already had to replace the "whip" as the mouth piece cracked. The warranty is good for 2 years. I was surprised the sent me a new whip, as I thought it only covered the heating unit (box). I guess because I told them that I had a piece of glass in my mouth, that they got nervous and just sent me a free new one.
    I am not complaining.

That's good to know that VaporNation will cover it, but what's a bit confusing is that on their site, in reference to this specific vape, it clearly states, "Each unit comes with a standard 3 Month Warranty that covers any defect associated with the heating element.", not 2 years. http://www.vapornation.com/vapor-king-vaporizer.html

So maybe I should rephrase my question.   If it breaks after 3 months, where do you send it in for your "2 year warranty" repair.

  9. Da Buddha.  Love mine, and if anything ever happened to it I would replace it with another one.

  10. I have the no2 vapure and like it

Vapure?   I actually like that name better than the real name.  I wonder why no one has picked up on it yet.   Great name for a vape.

  12. Lmfao I thought that was the name guessing I got good meds lol

  13. I would call them up and they would send me a new one. It has been over 6 months and they replaced the whip that broke in my mouth. It cracked and I almost cut myself. They did not HAVE to replace that, but they did. I am not worried about their service. The price I paid was more than fair and I use it on and off all day.
VAPORNATION has a funny you-tube video that explans how to use it.

  14. A vape pen for convienence. I could walk down the street and toke on that thing with no problem.

  15. I just ordered another Solo to go along with the Solo I have now, for a back up, just in case. I am so pleased with my Solo, I just had to get another one!

  16.
That was my reasoning to get another

  17. I have and do own:

    Arizer solo

    Arizer extreme Q

    Volcano (subsequently sold)

Vaporblunt 2.0 Dxl w/ chandelier WT

2 Pax (gen 1 and currently gen 2)

    Ascent (returned DEFECTIVE!!!)

    Cloud 2.0 wax pen.

It depends on what your use is:

    Wax/oil or herb or both

Home, travel(portable) , on the go (pocket)

Battery life (portable/pocket) as well as charge time.

What type of heating? Convection, conduction, sublimation.

Size of bowl: single user vs group

Temp settings. Preset, adjustable, and how many settings.

There are a lot of other factors as well.

If your serious about vaping take a look at FCombustion.com

They have reviews of most of the vapes as well as people very knowledgeable on troubleshooting an usage.

  18. I bought an SSV over the Buddha, yet to try it out but it looks pretty badass. And you can customize.

  19. I have had two vaporizers so far, the Arizer Q 4.0 Extreme and the Storz & Bickel Volcano Digit.   The Volcano is VERY efficient at getting the most efficiency out of your product.   There was four of us and we all got medicated off of 1-1.5 grams of Girl Scout Cookies & Blue Dream easily.  I should have measured just to make sure, but it was a really small amount.  I have the easy valve housing, the bags are about $10 each if you buy 6 of them at a time, but I like the convenience of them and I hear they should last long.  Don't buy new because $670 new is WAY too much.  I paid $230 for mine and could have gotten it for cheaper.

  20. Volcano. Always. Doesn't really matter which but custom bags all the way. King for a reason.
