Get stoned, lay back, and watch/listen. This dude Dub FX beat boxes all the parts of the beat and pretty much lays out a beat right in front of you with an array of foot pedals, then he sings some dope songs to the beats. You just have to hear it for yourself. These are my two favorites that I've seen so far, but he has a lot more vids. Enjoy! Dub FX ft. this really isn't anything new. beatboxing using loop pedals + effects is pretty standard for a live musician and is simply just having talent at being a live producer. Check out or the aforementioned Beadyman, also Blake Lewis, the dude who beatboxed on American Idol and came in second, did this before he was even on that shit show. I've been beatboxing for around 5 or 6 years and I have heard it all. It really does take a tremendous amount of skill to be able to keep time in your head and still produce geniuely unique tracks on the fly, but really it is all a matter of rehearsal.
