Hey guys. First time grower here. Have a hydro setup and 6 feminized plants. Nearly two weeks into budding and some plants apear to be growing small buds but some apear to be leafs with small stocks as if it's growing an additional branch. Is it normal?
It can be. The budsites of some plants, usually more sativa varieties, start out as little bunches of stigmas reaching out in all directions but down. The budsites of other plants, usually relatives of certain indica strains, start growing as little bunches of leaf with a few stigmas in between them. Most of the time you can tell by the plant's leaves whether it's more sativa or more indica. While it can be normal, too little Potassium combined with plenty of Nitrogen can also encourage more leaf in the buds.
