2012 should be a interesting year, but I hear what you are saying. With all the conflict around the world right now and nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran and Pakistan who don't have the best protection for the weapons. Who knows what will happen, but I know that in our lifetime we will see something catastrophic happen.
I don't think the 'end' will be from natural means. The collapse of the human race will be caused by a mixture of economic downfall and wars. That being said, I don't think 2012 is the year lol.

There is no doubt that with all of the incredible changes going on, revolutions and protests, climate changes, solar alignments, revelations, and ancient prophecies, as well as recession and political greed. All of this seems to have manifested itself in the last 1 or 2 years, and continues to snowball until something inevitably happens. I don't believe 2012 is the end of the world, but if it is, fuck it. The manipulation that our 'superiors' have been conducting for decades has run it's course, and I fully embrace any form of armageddon.

The world isn’t going to “end” on any magic date. The world changes and adapts. It is the hubris of humanity to imagine that just because we cannot survive that the world will not. It will. Our footprint will be washed away by the tide of change and the world will continue on without us. With any luck, we will be populating the stars long before such a major environmental shift occurs. But if there is a world shifting event on the horizon large enough to swallow us whole, then there is little any individual can do about it. It is pointless to obsess over it. Instead, fear apathy. Fear possessing the knowledge to change this world for the better, here and now, yet doing nothing with it. That is something you can impact; that is something you can change. IMO, fearing 2012 amounts to procrastination. It's just a number. People are stronger. Peace.
