Those two are time tested and you can find dozens of grow journals using those two recipes . Once you get a feel for it you can start tweaking it to your own specs. The future is soil , not oil

I have no idea to be honest , I kind of avoid bagged soil altogether , especially during summer because of all the critters like fungus gnats or aphids . It's better to be safe than sorry. Only thing I use as a base from the grow shop is Coco coir , the rest is compost/casting , recycled soil and perlite The future is soil , not oil
^that. Do you know anything about basic gardening? If you do it should be clear from reading those two recipes vs. Subcool/rev type stuff which makes more sense. Ive used both styles as i learned and ill save you some time. Listen to waktoo and scoobie, no till ftw.
