I need help about cfl with my newly planted germinated seed

    I planted my germinated seed today in soil and put a 14 watt cfl about 1 inch obove the pot will tht be enough for it to sprout??? Please respond soon.

    You don't need a light if there aren't any leaves yet, and even then you don't need much

    Its best to have a light above seeds when you plant them, they look for the warmth, and pop the surface. And yeah thats enough light for now.

    Ur gonna need about 6 more of those 13watt lights once it breaks soil

    14 watts is way to low bro. 100watts is ideal..the more the better. All 14watts will give you after a short while is a very small plant. Remember your trying to replicate the sun.

    A plant has no requirements as well for light untill the first set of leaves grow.
