So you are saying it is okay to market Santa to children, and teach them this wonderful myth... Use the image, not as a tool for charity, but as a way to sell shit around the holidays. When you find out the children really believe in Santa, you are saying you want more proof than that story I posted here? Seriously? how many kids need to write to santa that they are being molested? Actually, fuck all that...Once is enough. And who said there are limited resources. It seems to me Santa has plenty of resources, considering all the money that is spent on his image annually. Part of my job is to use that Santa money correctly, and I think the letters warrent this... and my idea did not involve a centralized agency...I thought it might be nice to send the Troops the Santa letters. They are away from home, and these letters are really pure and innocent. You would be suprised what kids right to Santa, and I believe this would be a nice touch. The Troops and Santa both share the trait of "unlimited givers", and believe, though it would take some work, the Armed services could get this done. They use Santa every year, so maybe one year they would like to try this idea.
You cant just demand that the companies making money off the santa image have to donate a portion of sales to charity. There are thousands of companies using santa, so there are a couple problems. 1, you have to convince all of them individually, which would be next to impossible. 2, most are probably already making significant donations. And with our struggling economy lately, most arent gonna be jumping at the idea of cutting more into their profit margin.

Its to offer a different option. By introducing a healthy Santa campaign on the beaches in the summer, and have it be charity based, it could help set an important precedent for the following December. Companies will see how to properly use Santa, and if the public is into it, they will follow. If you want to say i can't start a Santa campaign on the beach in the summer for charity, my answer would be No Shit. LOL!! but somebody can, and maybe I can get a finder's fee or something...i seriously don't know how money works, but believe I have earned the right to eat.

you want more proof that Santa really exists? Its simple. If you have a beard, just dye it white, and get a good Santa suit. Just walk around, and observe all the smiles you will see. You don't have to do shit but smile...Your mind would be blown away. what kind of proof are you looking for? if you want proof that children say these type of uncomfortable things to Santa, read some books by "real" Santas. Though I may not agree with the practice of a mall Santa, some of these guys really care. I read about the Stone Mountain, GA Santa. He talked about the time when a boy in a mall suggested the idea he was being abused. And this Santa guy couldn't do a thing. Its a helpless feeling. again, not sure what you are looking for exactly, but have the time to explain it to you...By the way, I know you are a tough critic, but do you think I am selling anyone else on this idea? Oh i dunno the threat may be an issue.. I write hostile vulgar emails to police departments, politicians, general public figures and those who appear in the media for draconian freedom sapping practices. I have and will use every four letter word available to me, no it does not get any point across.. it is meant to be offensive and piss the other person off.. to insure they know just how pissed others get. I'm sure plenty of "investigations" have been done into me, whatever. I've never been involved in a violent crime. Nor do i ever threaten violence. Mainly just complaints and insults aimed to offend, its highly juvenile, but it kills the time.

i was threatening her livelihood, not her life...I think that is a big difference. Plus, if she had information that could have helped me years ago ease my suffering, but chose to ignore it for undisclosed reasons, i would think it would give me a great reason to be pissed...i have no intention of ever hurting her physically...i just don't want her making a living off of my illness, and this is based on my experience as both an advocate and an Epileptic...

I consider myself a feminist, and one of my ideas was to update the image of Mrs Claus, and turn her into a women's empowerment campaign ( again, proceeds could go towards education for young girls)...Though I may not have all the answers, I still just want to be part of a campaign like this... she insulted my illness in a way no one has ever done before...Its not a word I condone, and don't want the female gender to be upset ( I want the girls to like me!!)...Its a word I don't take lightly, and understand the impact the word can have...its why I used it. i have never hit a woman in my life, and live chick songs. i hope this one indisgression does not ruin my career with the women...That is the part I never thought of until now...Shit!!

This Santa Campaign is some grandiose ideal that you've concocted in your brain and become obsessed about. You've talked about Santa porn, turning Santa into a year round figure instead of just a one month seasonal figure, and somehow using the money you make to fund the reading of every single letter to Santa in the off chance that a child will write about being molested. Anyone with any business or marketing training will tell you these are ridiculous ideas. You said yourself you don't know how money works. You completely over-react and threaten violence over a 100% appropriate response from the EF. I hate to say it man, but people like you do not start multi-billion dollar charity campaigns. You suffered psychological trauma, then someone gave you a santa suit and you placed special significance on it. There is no huge, secret, untapped resource in the image of santa, and you have not been given a "responsibility" to manifest it. There are so, so many more practical ways to help people. Please, try to find another way that will actually work, rather than tormenting yourself over and over for something that will never gain the momentum you think it will. SCOTT - this is the truth here. You've manifested some gigantic conspiracy against you when none exists. The lawyer WAS DOING HER JOB protecting the company and people she works for. She probably didn't intend for you to take the response the way you have, and you have blown this completely out of proportion. You don't see you're in the wrong, and that's the bad part. You threatened violence to this person for doing her job. You called her the worst word that a woman can be called and you consider yourself a feminist? You don't think she should continue her job and her livlihood because she smited you? Dude, that's a FORM LETTER response that you got. You need to take a step back from Santa Economics and focus on getting healthy. Oh and there is already someone reading all the letters that kids send to Santa and the North Pole. The Post Office set something up for that YEARS ago. You don't have any responsibility to anyone other than to get yourself healthy. But the Santa Economics - that's never going to work in the real world without someone with a HUGE check book to make it work, and the way you're going, no one is going to write you a check. Consider this my last word on the subject. I've said before GC isn't the place for Santa Economics to get it's start, I now FIRMLY believe that. If you want it to work YOU have to do the work yourself, set up a website and a charitable foundation along with a non-profit corporation.
