Or you could set your recycle bin so that when you delete something it doesn't go to the bin at all, but rather, just gets deleted.
Yeah, you could do that. I prefer the shift method, because sometimes I am unsure if I want it gone so I will send it to the recycle bin anyway, just in case I still need it a few days later. Rarely happens, though. I am just odd like that.
