I’m sold on low stress training. Wow!

  2. I'm all for growing a short, fat, bushy plant over a tall skinny plant. I've done both, and it's a whole lot easier to maintain your plants and your lights if you force them to grow horizontally and not vertically. Next time try the SCROG (screen of green) approach. Very similar to what you're doing, but the screen gives you greater LST control. Looking good!

  4. First off, nice grow. I've wanted to try out LST or scrog, but I want each plant to be mobile should the need arise. What inspires me about this post is small binder clips on the outside of fabric pots which can be used to LST the plant (with string). Not cumbersome, but still effective. Thanks for that inspiration. Probably nothing new, but I've never seen it before.
