hydroponics lighting

    I've never grown using a hydroponics system. just about everyone says not to use fluorescent, but they've worked for me. I was thinking if anyone has tried using fluorescent lighting during all the stages of growth. i know it might bring in a smaller yield, but will it work?

    If your goal is to grow something marginal that will produce smoke, the answer is yes.

    If your going to use fluorescent then just do soil

    personaly i would not bother flowering a plant under florecents ya gonna get no yield and what you do get will be chit weed

    YES... the answer is YES, CFL's or HPS will work for either hydro or soil.

    Think of the plant like a car... if you put premium(hydro) or regular (soil) in the gas tank, will the car move forward. The answer is obviously YES.
