hello every one im new to this game and im after some information. i can already grow in soil but i have just decided to give up on the fish tank and now have spare pumps and an external water filter whats the best system i can build with the equipment??

Ebb and flow works great but rocks (hydroton) is a pain to deal with. Get the ebb and flow tray and res and do a drip system in pots with coco and perlite. Do some research, it is a great system that keep the plants in pots (mobile is good, you never know) with huge growth rates and the automation of hydro.
Maybe try the NFT system - nice and easy for a first timer moving from soil to Hydro. Easy ti measure and test the water - easy tio keep an eye in the plants and easier to control the water than e&f i found.
