Humidity question, can't seem to find.

    If I have a tray filled to about the top with perlite and water, could I put a fan blowing either over the water or have it laying so its sucking in air from the top of the tray to help evaporate the water and increasing my humidity? Right now I'm using a minifridge and don't have space for a humidifier...

    I needed a bit more humidity in my room too. I went to the drug store and picked up one of those inexpensive (around $15) vaporizers that you use when your kiddos are sick.

    It does the trick quite nicely.:)

    Really? About how much percentage did it raise?

    My humidity sensor was reading below 25% beforehand and it raised it to around 40%.

    Sounds like this is exactly what I need, thnx man. What exactly are these things called again? lmao
