    Ok I bought the 20$ bulb, now I need to buy a balist right? It won't work in standard outlets. I hope I don't need an electrician.....

    Just go to hame depot and buy an HPS security fixture. they come with a bulb so now you have a backup!:) A 150wat system is like $50-$60.

    Yeah, I got the bulb at home depot. I only have 1 plant so I only need a 70 waat bulb.. so hopefully that will be cheaper

    i was just at lowes and the dude told me you can't get the ballast from Lowes or Home Depot, only from the manufacturer.

    You gotta buy the fixture.



    I saw 150 Watt HPS bulbs for like $20 bucks

    thats what i'm sayin. buy a whole damn 150watt fixture for $60. That way youll get a bigger crop too:)
