u need a ballast to convert the electric u get in ur house into the right volts that a hid light needs to work as its much much higher. i dont have a zip code so have no idea what them links are for.
HIGH All, here's a link to some Conversion Bulbs. Like Wylde1 (made sure I spelt that right *LOL*) said you have to have a ballest for these Bulbs.
watts dont matter, its the type of light. all hid lights such as hps, mh and mv run on a much higher vlotage then u get in mains electric so a ballast is needed. these lights do tend to b of the higher watt types but all fluro lights also need a ballast, the big tube type have them built into the fitting and the small clf type have them built into the base of the bulb under that plastic cover, fluros can come in some very small sizes as low as 5w so no in this case size dont matter.... erm i mean watts dont matter lol
