HPS/MH Ballest lighting and electricity

    Does it really cost alot of money? What is the average amount it takes a month? Please respond. thank you.

    You need to tell people how many watts and all that.

    Mine's 400w and I wanna say that the HPS uses more electricity than the MH, but the MH runs 24/4 and the HPS runs 12/12, so it balances out I suppose.

    (these are not exact numbers, just my best guestimations)

    I think it's about $40 a month to run my light. I could be wrong. Maybe it's $30.

    Yes mines a 400 watt light.

    hmm 30$ is alot though i guess.

    If you can grow $1500-$2000 worth of pot for $90 in electricity I think it's a price worth paying.

    well a 1000 watt hps uses around 9 amps of power and thats around 30-40 bucks a month running 24/7

    my entire grow draws 16 amps , Thats 26 bucks a month, cheep entertainment :smoking:
