hola, i am using cfls for vegetative stage and then bought some hps (150 watt) and mh (175 watt) figuring that they would fit into normal ballasts .. they screw in fine but i realized that they dont turn on like the cfls (or other normal lights)! it says on the box that i need a "ANSI S35" ballast but have no idea what that is after googling it a lot and trying home depot .com... can any one help me out in figuring out what kind of ballasts are good for these lights? or what i would need to make one? xoxo gato
google 150 watt hps ballast and 175 watt mh ballast also id buy a switchable ballast and get rid of one of the lights so you have two 150 lights or 175 lights.
