How to mount a vertical hanging light horizontaly?

    Iv built a grow box and am putting in lights. I purchased a light socket that has a plug at the end so I can plug it into an outlet.

    My problem is that I need to mount the light on the sides to save growing space. Any blades have a suggestion on how to do this?

    Get a brace, mount the light socket to it horizontally, and screw the brace into the wall?
