Try using your phone camera and zooming to the max. Or a bigger camera.

Got mine at the local radio shack.
You need about 60x to really see what you need to see.
Search for handheld microscope. They run about $15.00
I take tiny snips off several spots on the plants and go inside to a table for my inspections.

Imo if you wait a week after 90% of the your white pistols are gone you should be good to harvest (most of the time) lol

Another method is to wait until they trichomes don't sparkle like glass chips but look more dull. That happens when they go from clear to cloudy.

I hold it up to my phone camera which is a pia so I just ordered this one to clip on my phone and its only a couple dollars more as well as, stronger
