How to get the new stank out of my Taylors?

    So I just got some new Chuck Taylors.:cool: And well as everyone who has owned a pair before, know that they smell pretty stanky when they are new. So anybody know how to get the terrible rubber smell to go away? :(

    Take a couple hits from a J and blow them in your shoes. Also hold the shoe above the J when it's burning. :laughing:
    EDIT: ^Didn't see that. Um shit, you got me stumped.

    leave em in a box with a bunch of candles or something strong smelling so the shoes can absorb the smell into the material

    Just wear them, believe me that new smell will go away;)
