  1. i have these plants i want it to flower.. get 12 hours of light and about 2 hours of shade.. what are the tactics of flowering outside?

  2. Let mother nature do her thing. You need to do nothing but maybe switch ferts.

Where in the world do you live? That has some to do with it as well.

  3. west coast, i seen some pics that flower in august already

  4. Different strains. Some come early. Some take forever.

North or south west coast? That matters as well.

  5. if i leave my plant in the shade spot like around 7 hours of sun and 17 hours of shade and dark would they flower?..its already august should i be expecting flower soon? i dont want my plant to grow more than 4 feet

  6. They flower when the light hours naturally drop to roughly 12/12. It is different with every strain though, so I wouldn't worry. You can't do anything about it, it's not like an indoor grow where you play god.

And with the height issue, you could top it or use LST and get a higher yield at the same time.

  7. It's so close to their natural time to start there's no real point. I've been flowering mine for 6.5-and 8.5 weeks but if yours haven't started they will
